What if you put wakeskate grip on a skateboard?
 

I just thought that since skate grip can get ruined if it gets wet, you can put wakeskate grip on, and then it would be waterproof. Would it work?

it is the exact same stuff. Wakeskates use skate grip.

But it is said that if you leave your skateboard in the rain it can ruin the grip.

if you leave a skateboard in the rain the bearings will rust out and it will become water logged

So water doesn't really wreck the grip just the board and bearings?
