take the boat or not?
we keep the boat at the house so that we can enjoy the many DFW area lakes. The lake house is 120 miles away. There is a 60% chance of rain Saturday and a 30% chance Sunday (at the lake house). The kids have obligations early Monday morning, so our trip will end mid day Sunday. Would you guys bother hauling the boat with you and hope for a chance to get on the water? Or would yall just enjoy the east Texas woods without boating?

Tough call man.... Gotta say I'd probably make the haul just in case. Unless you know a bunch of other people at the lake with boats, then I might leave it home.

Definitely take the boat. Its happened to me and my buddy twice this year where we thought it was going to rain and it ended up being glass all weekend. We have vowed to always bring the boat just in case. Take it or you might be kicking yourself.

I would take the boat man, every time I don't I regret it! Which lake do you go to in East Tex?

I would def take the boat but then again i don't have kids. I like to think that i would still take the boat but i just don't know.

Better to have it and not use it, than to want to use it and not have it... Either way, make it a good weekend! :)
