Last summer I got to ride on a few Malibu's that had custom covers for their seats and rear hatch. They were like a towel material. It was nice because they didn't stick to you when you sat on them. Does anyone know who makes these? thanks

Those are probably real comfortable, but imo they look retarded. Reminds me of when people had shag carpet or used sheets to cover their couch when it got a tear in it.

Ouch... just to let everyone else know, Cole's opinion is not necessarily the only one out there... we have been selling seat covers to people all over the US for two years now. We are growing every year. We just got done builing out the kit for the Xstar and we'll more boats kits coming out soon.

Big thanks to everyone who has supported the product!

Mark
www.primalmp.com

Mark,

Will you guys be at the L.A. Boat Show? I would be interested in taking a look at some samples.

Thanks

unclejessie 01-09-2008 12:59 PM

Sorry, we will not be there. I can send you small samples of the towel material though. We have light gray, dark gray (see pics above), black, brown, baige, and Navy blue.

mark

The covers are awesome. They keep your boat upholstry clean, cool and tear free. Plus they're easy to take out of the boat to dry off and wash. A lot of the local wake schools are using them because their boats get such high traffic.

Oh, that and the fact that Mark's a pretty kick-a$$ guy.

acurtis_ttu 01-09-2008 1:28 PM

Just curious...have you started making these for any supra models?

unclejessie 01-09-2008 1:39 PM

not yet. Send me email with your boat model and year and I will put you in my boat tracker.

info@primalmp.com

Mark

sick idea...I am going to call Mark to get some pricing.

i will second everything evan said. and that goes for the stand up guy part. mark is a great guy to do business with. it takes alot to get me hiped on a product. this product works, it s add style and comfort and will increase the life of your boat. hands down worth every penny. and its as easy as washing your clothes when it comes to cleaning and they stsy in place with the cool strechy stuff.

My question is this, since you wipe the boat down after each use, do you take them off every time you go to the lake? any mildew issues? thanks

westsiderippa 01-09-2008 8:42 PM

if im at the lake for the weekend i leave them on all weekend. no prob at all. they dry quick its just towel on the top the strechy stuff on the side sthat doesnt see sun doesent hold in water. no worries. i keep my boat at the delta and ride for the day alot. i just use my best jugment before i put the boat in the storage unit and pull the back two off because they get wet. and they work great for wipping the boat too. there just soft towels. its really simple i can put them on and off in a couple minutes. but i also tow with transon tie downs!! hahahahaha

unclejessie 01-09-2008 9:41 PM

Evan and Bryan... thanks for the props!

Abe,
You still need to remove the covers once the boat gets put away in storage or in the garage. We do not reccomend leaving them on damp for extended periods of time.

Byan is right on... for camping I leave them on all weekend. Once I am home they come off, get washed and dried, then go back on. After day trips I hang dry them... but only if they are damp.

Mark
