Bullards Bar

Posted on TMC as well.

So I am finally gonna make it to bullards. Been meaning to go for a while but just never worked out. We'll be there July 12-15th staying in schoolhouse.

My friend is bringing his camping trailer and would like to not tow the whole distance (from Stockton) with his water tank full. Those who have been there, could you recommend a spot along the way (I-5,99,70,20) that he could fill up? Can you do it at the campsite? I know they don't have a dump station so I am doubting they have water to fill up..

Thanks in advance

Only place to fill up nearby is the gas station in camptonville Highway 49. Or at the Chevron station at 20 and marysville road.

From folsom and been a million times. Fill up in marysville as that's about your last chance. I'll be there 5th thru 9th

I haven't made it out to Bullard's yet. I visit family who have a house up in Oroville and go to Lake Oroville every Summer. I love that lake with all its fingers. What makes Bullards so great? I'm just curious and want to know if I should try to take the extra 45 minutes to get there.

I've been Grass Valley Lake (I think it's called) up that way. It's a beautiful place to go but higher and so cooler, and also all chopped up by noon.
