duffmangt 08-26-2009 3:24 PM

There are going to be some epic battles between these two on the comp circuit. They are changing the game.

wakemitch 08-26-2009 5:49 PM

WOW!

mvl 08-26-2009 5:52 PM

that is bad....

jarrod 08-26-2009 5:53 PM

"There are going to be some epic battles between these two on the comp circuit."

I agree.

Is Bob going to ride pro next year?

(Message edited by jarrod on August 26, 2009)

I guess over and above what they will do in the comp circuit, the fact that these young rippers are riding together is going to push them in free riding too.

lfadam 08-26-2009 6:20 PM

That is a SiCK video!. So big!!!

lfrider139 08-26-2009 8:02 PM

Thanks man, that was legit

blindmnkee3 08-26-2009 9:24 PM

They riding behind the SAN 230? I dig that wake

focker 08-27-2009 3:15 AM

Tadpole has become a little beast. The only person I've seen than lands blind better than he does is Mr. Malinoski and Shapiro. Plus I like the fact that his older brother is arguably the most technically capable rider in the world and he talks trash to him. I LOVE IT!

boomshot 08-27-2009 4:20 AM

Tadpole has become a seabeast and Froggy has become a controversial adult frog, who can't catch a break with any of his peers, nor with his "peer group" of internet users in the male 11-24yr old category.

roy_munson 08-27-2009 10:46 AM

yeah why does everyone hate on phil? theres no question in my mind he's one of the best riders this sport has ever had.

liquidmx 08-27-2009 10:58 AM

Roy, multiple PWT sources tell me there are many reasons for it. Its not just keyboard jockeys and people who have never met him.

roy_munson 08-27-2009 11:07 AM

oh really....go on....

roy_munson 08-27-2009 11:08 AM

but i will say that i dont see alot of merit in the 'phil has no style' or 'phil doesnt go big enough' arguments. i love wathcing him ride. its impressive.

eubanks01 08-27-2009 11:28 AM

Why wouldn't he ride Pro next year? There doesn't seem to be anything left for him in Jr. Men's.

romes 08-27-2009 12:14 PM

i was speechless the first time i watched that and i'm still speechless...effing HAMMERS!!!

andy_nintzel 08-27-2009 12:18 PM

Eubanks,

I am with you, I almost think that once you win the JRs you should have to ride pro, keep the Jr's Fresh. But then again winning is fun, so why not ride Jr's again.

eubanks01 08-27-2009 12:36 PM

Isn't there better money potential and sponsor options once you go Pro?

andy_nintzel 08-27-2009 12:51 PM

Way more not to mention just prize money.

wake1823 08-27-2009 1:04 PM

My limited interaction (outside of a contest setting....relaxed amongst a group of mutual friends) with Phil, is the guy is full of himself. Comes off as a d-bag.

wakeviolater 08-27-2009 1:39 PM

didnt Chris Williams do this trick first? I wanna say he called it a mamma-jamma, or something like that?

romes 08-27-2009 1:42 PM

i think he stuck one last year at that norcal vs socal hype thing right al?

wakeviolater 08-27-2009 1:49 PM

that is correct...but im not sure when that video of mr soven was made.

Chris' was off the double up, and HUGE. trevor maur might have gotten video...

andy_nintzel 08-27-2009 1:53 PM

WakeViolater,

Yeah there is video somewhere of CDubs sticking that trick!

liquidmx 08-27-2009 3:02 PM

Agreed, C-dubs has a pretty good looking one...likely grabbed. He also had a vid floating around of a DERTY T2B. Someone else mentioned that the trick should be called a "3 two 1" or 321. Which is how I have referred to it.

jarrod 08-27-2009 4:43 PM

Here's the video. Let's see what Soven has on this. http://www.norcalhyperlite.com/pages/video_northvssouth.html

steezyshots 08-27-2009 4:57 PM

Chris's was wrapped and off axis too. Soven passes on axis and then lands wrapped.

Both of them have to be hard as hell

scbrips 08-27-2009 6:51 PM

Dude... That move from Williams was sick. PROPS.

gherk 08-27-2009 9:22 PM

Chris' looks more like a 5 with the rewind 3.

srh00z 08-27-2009 9:28 PM

I have seen another video of Williams I think?? From a different angle maybe?

wakeslife 08-27-2009 10:08 PM

That rewind was tight as hell in the video jrod posted. And that heel frontflip off the doubleup was insane!

jarrod 08-28-2009 6:59 AM

As someone mentioned above, he does a Mobe Dick, but without the last 180. Like a Tanny to Blind but with the handle pass off the wake. All kinds of unique stuff from Chris.

andy_nintzel 08-28-2009 7:34 AM

Chris is one of my favorite riders to watch. I remember when I first moved to cali, and watching he toss HS BS OA trick way before anyone else. He just has a different vision of the sport. Really reminds me of Sean O'brien in the sense that he is quietly making the sport progress in a major way.

layton_olano 09-18-2009 1:55 PM

hs fs 3 to bs 180.....

Holy hell that is sick looking. As said before, these guys are definitely upping the ante for the rest of the pros.

ttrigo 09-18-2009 2:23 PM

if we are giving credit to the trick, I believe Ryan (spintowin here on ww) landed it first. Cdubs took it to another level though.

bill_c 09-18-2009 8:58 PM

Harley Clifford did one of the double up in a movie called Canvas about 18 months ago.
check out the movie.

waterdork88 09-18-2009 10:20 PM

I know Soven wasn't the first to 3 then bs 1 and I havent seen Canvas... Is soven the first to "handlepass" 3 then 1?
