I just purchased a boat with a Swoop Pro Flight Tower and I would like to know if it folds down?
Any help would be appreciated.

I have an older Proflight that folds. Where is yours attached? Post some pics of where its attached.

My boat is a 2003 Air Warrior. The tower came new with the boat. Here is a picture of the same tower on a different boat.

That is a bit different than mine. I have quick release pins on the front legs that let it swing to the rear and the tow ball rests on my ski pole. I wouldnt tow the boat with the tower down, but for storage in a garage it would be ok. You could probably replace the front bolts with release pins and change the bolts in the rear for swivel.

My swoop tower is the same on my 04 sanger, and yes it folds down. There are two hand knobs that you unscrew in the front of the tower. It will fold down back to the stern.

Thanks for the information. The hand knobs were tight so I did not know if they unscrewed. I will use WD40 to losen them up. Thanks Again.....
