Sorry Cards fans there goes your rise to relevancy. I'm going to bet they don't even win their weak division without him.
Sorry to see Warner walk away though, he's one helluva QB.
Maybe Brett will come back for the Card next year
Good riddance to him and his flat top.
At least now I won't be tempted to take him in fantasy
He put up pretty good fantasy numbers this year! The guy was able to accomplish quite a lot in a limited amount of time. He seems like a good Dude.
He did a great job for us in AZ. Good luck to him. Now we need some serious help.
What a career! Definetly one of the best all time. Not to mention A CLASS ACT!! Maybe Arizona can land that flunkie from philly McScab.

Pretty sure Arizona could not show up to half their games and win that division... Even with big Matt as a QB.
Kurt's play and that new stadium put AZ on the football map. Before it was the armpit of the league. He is going to be missed. The NFL needs more winners like him.
"The NFL needs more winners like him."

ditto.
Great guy and always fun to watch. That said, SEE YA! With a new coach and an owner who's untied his his purse strings the Hawks will rule once again!
The Cards are gonna be a completely different team without him. A lot of cheers from division rival fans with that news
Why would anyone say "good riddance"? That guy was a great player with a super attitude and a good role model for anybody.

He will be missed.

googled this for your enjoyment...
Only Dan Marino — who never won a Super Bowl — had more career 300-yard passing games. Warner was the fastest player in N.F.L. history to 10,000 yards passing, and he tied Marino as fastest to reach 30,000. Warner also has the top three passing performances in Super Bowl history. His 1,147 yards passing in the 2008 playoffs broke the N.F.L. record of 1,063, which he set with St. Louis in 1999.

(Message edited by lifetimewarranty on January 29, 2010)

I say good riddance because I don't like him. That's why.
Wow, what a bummer. Amazing that he still has so much talent at his age. He will always be remembered as the man that got my Rammies a Super Bowl ring! He will be missed!
