Today i was on my lake which they a slowly draining to fix the dam when i was floating about 50yrds off shore when all of a sudden we feel a thump. Then we looked down and noticed that there was tons of rocks right beneith the boat. We quickly hopped out and got the boat away from the rocks but it bent the end of one of the blades. I didn't think anything happend so i continued my day at the lake for another couple hours. Could i have hurt my boat? I wasn't sure since the prop was slightly bent when it was spinning if it could have hurt some bearings or something. Also where should i get a replacement prop (from the dealer or online somewhere) and also how hard is it to replace. I have an 06 MC X15. Thanks alot and any comments would be appreciated.

Josh

Get your prop repaired. Cheaper and they do a awesome job

I dinged my original prop on my 02 SANTE so I bought a new one that was pitched a little better for the addtional ballast. I had the original prop repaired for a spare and they did a great job.

Most prop shops can rework them for between $50-$75... Usually they work better, because they are more balanced...

depending how hard you hit and how bad it vibrated I'd check the shaft/strut for alignment to be sure those two pieces are not bent too badly...
