wakeguru 02-22-2005 7:02 AM

Yeah, that guy is a piece of work. His screen name is "hellodarknessmyoldfriend". <BR> <BR>I like this "Never slam your nuts on a rail again." lol

jarrod 02-22-2005 7:20 AM

wakeme884 02-22-2005 7:29 AM

Maybe Im wrong, but doesnt wakeskate + bindings=wakeboard??

toolfan 02-22-2005 7:48 AM

not in England

wakestar8878 02-22-2005 9:11 AM

Someone who has an e-bay account needs to send him a message asking if this is a joke, then post his reply. <img src="http://www.wakeworld.com/MB/Discus/clipart/lol.gif" border=0>

toolfan 02-22-2005 9:20 AM

im on it.... <BR> <BR>here is what i have sent: <BR> <BR>Dear hellodarknessmyoldfriend, <BR> <BR>This must be the newest thing in wakeskating!!! Could you tell me a little more about this product? I'm VERY interest. What purpose does the auger serve? <BR> <BR> <BR>(Message edited by toolfan on February 22, 2005)

kybool 02-22-2005 9:23 AM

that has to be a joke, either that or the guy just doesn't have a clue

pate 02-22-2005 1:13 PM

So much for flip tricks????

blitzpb 02-22-2005 1:54 PM

I wonder if that cassette board is also included?!

wakestar8878 02-22-2005 2:08 PM

Too funny Toolfan, I can't wait to hear his reply. <img src="http://www.wakeworld.com/MB/Discus/clipart/rofl.gif" border=0>

thane_dogg 02-22-2005 2:30 PM

yeah I wonder if that bi-level is included.

breadbutta 02-22-2005 4:02 PM

I believe the auger indicates that you get screwed if you send money to this clown.

nlitworld 02-22-2005 5:21 PM

Yes it is a cassette board, and yeah that has to be a joke. a set of bindings on a wakeskate would totally defeat the whole purpose of wakeskating. why not just strap on your wakeboard? that guy has to be an idiot or just a prankster

dakid 02-22-2005 5:27 PM

<blockquote><hr size=0><!-quote-!><font size=1><b>quote:</b></font><p>These bindings are <b>GUARENTEED</b> to keep your feet attached to the board.<!-/quote-!><hr size=0></blockquote> <BR> <BR>so, if the rider comes out of the bindings, do they get their money back?

02-22-2005 8:25 PM

"Until now wakeskaters had to settle doing smaller air's and something called lip tricks, but utilising new technology all is about to change!" <BR> <BR>Where in the world do people come up with this stuff? <img src="http://www.wakeworld.com/MB/Discus/clipart/uhoh.gif" border=0>

jimmyg 02-23-2005 8:12 AM

He has some Skateboard "bindings" for sale too!!! <BR> <BR>Although, if he is just an idiot and not joking, there is a chance to get a pair of LF bindings for 50p! <img src="http://www.wakeworld.com/MB/Discus/clipart/wink.gif" border=0>

pate 02-23-2005 9:27 AM

Jimmy, <BR>Good point how much is 50 pence in American Money?

chrissocal 02-23-2005 9:55 AM

Why not just bolt a pair of vans to your wakeskate? Then atleast you look like your wakeskating.

toolfan 02-23-2005 10:57 AM

i just got a response...what a crook!!!!!!!! <BR> <BR> <BR>You asked: <BR>"This must be the newest thing in wakeskating!!! Could you tell me a little more about this product? I'm VERY interest. What purpose does the auger serve?" <BR> <BR>auger?yes. I dont want to give away secrets, thats what your biddin' for

toolfan 02-23-2005 11:00 AM

I emailed him back asking what exactly I would get if I won the auction.

ttrigo 02-23-2005 11:22 AM

I emailed him also, and here is his reply. I think everyone on this site, should email him similar questions! <BR>You asked: <BR>""These bindings are GUARENTEED to keep your feet attached to the board" <BR>isn't the purpose of a wakeskate, to NOT be attached to the board?? otherwise it would be called a wakeboard?? I am confused. what kind of bindings are those?? <BR> <BR>(it seems someone has noticed) the item i am selling is a concept for attaching your feet to a wakeskate. Could be useful for those who cannot afford a full size board maybe, or something <BR>

electricsnow 02-23-2005 11:29 AM

50 p is close to one US dollar.

wickedwake 02-24-2005 4:00 PM

For 95 cents I will bid just to see what happens

wakeme884 02-24-2005 7:11 PM

Anybody check out his other auctions? Skateboard bindings!!!! but its just a picture of a bunch of nuts and bolts. This guys a nut case...

greenpinky 02-25-2005 3:13 AM

Haha! I love the guy at the end, skidding on his a$$ and hanging on for dear life, with absolutely zero chance to pull it out.

greenpinky 02-25-2005 3:21 AM

Oops! sorry guys. I had 2 Wakeworld windows open. Added to the wrong thread.

penny4urthots 02-25-2005 3:24 AM

Oh my goshness. I thought I would never see the day that we would actually see the meaning of TRUE fEeErIdInG defined on E-BAY. I stand amazed with my useless cassette in hand...

parksboarder 02-25-2005 7:32 PM

hey guys, I just asked this dushe bag if the Auger was some new "huge step" in curly wakeboard rope and handle technology or something
