Does any one out here have a 2001 Centurion Sport Bowrider? If so how is the wake? Is it more of a ski boat or can it be sacked and be a good wake boat. There is one for sale near me for what seems like a decent price except it has no tower.

I had a 2000. I wouldn't recommend for wakeboarding. I had alot of cosmetic issues with mine also, although it always started right up and never left me stranded. PM me if you want specifics.

We had a 2004 Sport Bowrider. The boat is a great ski boat and a great first time boat, however, it is very limited on its wake board wake potential. We had 440lbs on each side of the motor and a 500lb sac for the rear seat and still had an limited wake. We never had a problem with the boat and lots of great times. We bought a Centurion agian with no regreats. If you think that you will be on the water a fair amount of time and are intrested in wakeboarding, I would go for a V-Drive. If you are mainly wakeboarding; Spend some time, money, and research now to avoid upgrading to a wakeboard boat next year. <img src="http://www.wakeworld.com/MB/Discus/clipart/wink.gif" border=0>
