So Sangers surf trim tabs have been out this summer and I was wondering what peoples thoughts are on them. Who owns or rides behind a v237 or a v215 with them? I think they would help my avalanche be less weight super sensitive. I love my avy but it's extremely sensitive to weight movement. Thanks

Hey Duffy,
They were only put on a couple of boats that I know of. I have used them a couple of times. I think they would help with your weight sensitive issues some. You can fine tune easier with tabs than with weight. Andrew Taft has a V237 in Canada so he should have more input but IMO they can be helpful. Send me an email and I can give you more insight.

My Supra SSV is also very sensitive to weight movement. We run about 2500# of water ballast but when a 130# person moves to the opposite side of the surf for a picture the wave gets washed out a little.

Are these trim tabs on each side of the transom?
