Sorry guys if this ? sucks but I'm going to be buying my first boat in a month looking to spend about 30k to 40k used. What is high hours for motor whats to much? been looking at CC 210 team, MB team, malibu, and mastercraft. nothing lower then an 04 and prob no higher then 06. <BR>Thanks

on that new of a boat it shouldn't be over 300-400 hours, anymore and i think its too much.

You can buy a brand new Sanger V215 for 41K out the door...That's with 0 hours. Just saying...

Check out the other thread about boat hours. You can find one with very low hours but most people would prefer a boat that was well maintained for twice as many hours vs a boat that was abused for a low number of hours. I saw that your in California and I would expect boats from cali to have more hours on average. I wouldn't shy away from a boat with around 500 hrs if in good shape for a good price.

With all of the dealers on the west coast folding you should be able to get a sweet deal on a new one.
