I am totally overwhelmed with trying to wade through all the negative and sometimes mean spirited things boat dealers in So Cal say about each other and the boats they sell. <BR> <BR>Correct Craft, Supra, Tige, Malibu not everyone of these dealers made down right nasty comments about their competitors but most of them did. All had a negative comment or 2 about their competition. <BR> <BR>Is this industry that cut throat? I have been away from the boating scene (mostly slalom and a little long line footin)for about 8 years. My last boat a 1983 CC 2001 SN. <BR> <BR>I am going to test drive the CC 216, Tige 21i, Malibu 21 XTI and maybe the Supra Launch ss next week. <BR> <BR>Anyone have any thoughts about the Malibu and how it stacks up as far as dependability, durability and versatility?? <BR> <BR>I have received some info on the other boats from you all and I welcome more on any of these boats as well as any suggestions on any boats I am overlooking! <BR> <BR>

Kirk, <BR> <BR>All four of those boats are great boats. It sounds like you've really done your research and narrowed it down from the huge list that everybody (including myself) was throwing at you. All four boats are quality (some good, some great), all four will perform (some good, some great). Just go drive them and demo them like you plan to use them; # of people, all of your gear, use all of the storage and seating (and don't let the salesman tell you he'd prefer you not to bring anyone or any gear - he (or she) isn't buying the boat). And enjoy making the decision. <BR> <BR>Oh and about the industry being that cut-thoat? No. It's just that there are that many poor salesman in the industry. If you don't know how to successfully sell your own product, try to knock the others down to make yours look better. <BR> <BR>Good luck with your decision!
