need some help with prop!

thinking about getting a 14.25x14 prop for my 01 supra launch should it be ok, i now have a 14x20 i think and it wont pull a rider out the water with a loaded boat i have to adjust the wake plate to get it on plane and then readjust again to get the wake i wont (headache).

Just put the same one on our 05 22ssv 14.25x 14 Acme and it's great. At 3,000 rpm mine use to run at 30mph. Now at 3,000 rpm it runs 25mph. It was well worth the money. It will get on plane much quicker and will snatch you out of the water with a quickness.

I'd call ACME or OJ to get their take on the best prop for you first. They are very knowledgeable about all the makes/models/ballast configurations and how they respond to props. You don't want to drop the money and then be disappointed!

I sent Bill Weaks an email at ACME a couple of weeks ago and gave him the information about my boat and what I was looking for. Told him my current setup and he sent an email back with what he thinks would be the best. I'll have to say it was the best money ever spent on a prop, the boat pulls great out of the hole and holds good at the lower speeds. Couldn't agree more with Brain, call the makers and they know.
