It is REALLY bad around Tuscaloosa and surrounding Birmingham areas. Please keep everyone in your prayers. Death count is over 200 just in Alabama and they are still looking for people.

Most of North AL is witrhout power, but some areas are slowing coming back. I've been working at Huntsville Hospital helping get emergency power, HVAC, etc back in operation. We got basically a big extension cord run from the South end of town at about 1:ooPM last night to supply just the Main building with power to help out the generators. I think we've already burned through something like 20,000 gallons of diesel fuel. A few gas stations are in town working of generators supplying gas, but lines are wrapped around blocks waiting. Already been reports of looting and even one person shot dead last night after being surprised by the owner of a conveinence store that they broke into. They have instated a dusk till dawn curfew.

My wife took the kids to Orange Beach, AL till power comes back while I stayed behind. It's weird not having any power in the city. Reports say they traked the tornado that went through Tuscaloosa for 370 miles on the ground. From MS all the way across AL up into TN. Last death toll in AL alone was 210+. I haven't heard much info cause I've been working, but picking up bits and pieces here and there.

Got to get back to work... Ya'll be safe in the affected areas and hope eeryone is safe. This is going to take a long time to recover from.
