I just got my new boat. Upgraded from a 2003 mastercraft X-2 to a 2007 mastercraft X-2. Very nice! I just got my new 07 avalanche, 20 minutes on the clock after my test drive, brought home then winterized! Its on next year! Steve

No I still can put my ballast in the boat and have no problems. It's a Toyota land cruiser.
