I just ordered this board online...total impulse buy haha! Give me your opinions on this board and how it rides. Any info would be great. Thanks guys!

fast, good smooth predictible pop. Holds a strong edge. Cons it isnt loose enough for my tastes even with the center fins out. Not quite a big enough size the 141 is a bit small for me

Thanks Nick. What is your height/weight? I am coming off a 07 140 LF Shane. Anyone else have this board?

nsolis220 08-25-2008 2:41 PM

6'0 230 so it drags a little if it was a 143 i think id like it alot more. It does however make the shane feel small. I have that too

Is that good or bad? Do you like the Shane more?

megatmoe 08-25-2008 3:09 PM

Is it a heavy board next to the Shane?

nsolis220 08-25-2008 3:13 PM

no the board is light. The shanes awesome im just to big for it right now.

Anyone else?

the boards weight is not an issue. its tip and tail are very thin, which makes the swing weight low. switching between the sub6 and bside did not mess with me based on board weight.

it has molded-in fins and channels that are not sharp as to give the board a level of control with flexability. the board is loose when you need it to be, and holds a hard edge into the wake. I ride this board finless.

the pop is similar to a premier, but more defined off the wake (almost like a 3-stage), but the landing is like a continuous rocker - soft and forgiving.

the graphics ROCK!

love this board on rails. i agree with nick on the speed, pop, edge hold and all that stuff.
141 is a good size for someone around 185-200lbs or so. haven't ridin the shane, but the b-side is probably not as loose.

no one can deny the graphics are tight

Thanks guys. Im getting pumped to ride it!

Nick, what do you weigh? I'm debating between picking up a Shane or a Watson at season end prices but I'm 6'2" and 215.
