wakeguru 05-29-2003 11:13 AM

John, looks like a concave cassette by LF.
Here's a couple...

actually, cassette skates aren't made by LF. Cassette is its own company, and LF is its distributor. I just wanted to clear that up because I hear so many people saying that. Nice pics though!

detonate69 05-29-2003 5:55 PM

Thats very true almost everyone thinks that. Heck I know a kid that works in a pro shop who thought that. Whatta maroon.

Yes very nice pics. I hope someday to be getting that much air and not landing on my head!

fbroen 05-29-2003 6:17 PM

Didn't Horell start his own distribution company just a while back? I wonder what the LF ties will be given that? Oh, and yes, very nice pix...

peter_c 05-29-2003 9:57 PM

Here is one I found of Thrasher shreading. I have multiple sequences of him going wake to wake too.

wakeguru 05-30-2003 6:16 AM

mt_hed 05-31-2003 6:54 AM

Haha thats a nice pic. The guy riding looks almost like the guy on the bottom graphics of the board!

Yes, Thomas Horrell started his own distribution company (Linear Distribution) when LF was going thru bankruptcy. LF continued to sell Cassette until May 31st. Now they're developing their own skates...

Most peole have missed this whole thing and I'm thinking it may have a big impact on the current market. It's going to be really difficult and expensive for Thomas to get distribution up and running and now he has LF as a competitor. Interesting business decision and I wish him luck.
