here too for a quick time version
http://www.wakeworld.com/Galleries/GetImage.asp?GalleryID=601&ImageID=2

The lights on the trailer are pretty sweet. Cool idea.

snowman89 03-04-2009 10:02 PM

Those trailer lights are the most genius thing I've ever seen. And the windshield makes more sense now that I hear it explained.

dudeman 03-05-2009 5:07 AM

Agreed, those trailer lights are very cool.

mbsteez 03-05-2009 10:42 AM

The wake looked super rampy there. They seem to have addressed most of the issues people were asking questions about here on WW...

wakeriderixi 03-05-2009 11:46 AM

RAMPY in the boat shots of the wake! Those run way trailer lights are amazing!

Same things apply still about having to ride it yourself, or see in person, but I'd like to hear the banter back and forth now. I bet we'll hear a lot more positives on this thread compared to the others.

wakeriderixi 03-05-2009 11:47 AM

Question- Anyone know the song? Some sort of Christian rap, maybe Grits? I liked it.

03-05-2009 12:10 PM

Not Grits, The Ambassador-My Clothes, My Hair Lyrics

mtownrydr 03-05-2009 12:14 PM

I'm all over it for 29k.

andy_nintzel 03-05-2009 2:47 PM

Those trailer lights are SICK! Great Idea. The windshield makes total sense now.

Nothing wrong with breaking the "traditional mold" for how boats should be made.

hco 03-05-2009 3:19 PM

To me having the driver be able to grab the dock or something sounds like a gimmick they came up with after the fact. Personally I enjoy docking as smoothly as possible, and that usually means I don't need to grab the dock to stop the boat from getting messed up.

srh00z 03-05-2009 5:41 PM

The windshield is different and I would probably change it around a bit if I were designing. However, in regards to docking, I can understand the benefit. I have been in numerous boats and some of the older Nautiques (I am thinking of SN2001's and late 90's early 00's SAN's) had a very short side window and it does help a good bit around the dock.

wakebrdr38 03-05-2009 6:00 PM

Yeah except for the fact that the older nautiques back to the left so doin the old parallel parking trick always puts the dock on the passenger side But on occasion in an upwind situation you can make it happen (did it the other night) and the short window was great. Moved my hand less than a foot from the throttle to the dock.

bbr 03-05-2009 7:18 PM

It's not about being able to grab the dock to stop the boat, its to be able to hold on to the dock easily once your at the dock.

priszkid 03-05-2009 7:44 PM

dig the vid- if i had the cash- i'd be down.

eyekahn 03-05-2009 8:38 PM

I would still like to see a 7 done, off the wake, behind the boat. Notice every vid is lacking that...

hsryan33 03-05-2009 8:56 PM

maybe 7's aren't possible behind the axis..

wake2wake_66 03-05-2009 8:58 PM

I kind of like the windshield, and the trailer looked pretty nice. I liked the color or Randall's too. I looked at one at the Dallas boat show, and I hated it. But now I am coming around.

helinut 03-06-2009 8:03 AM

Why on earth would you put a promotional vid of a new product on youtube and not have it in HD? Not too bright there. Nice boat though.

wakeworld 03-06-2009 12:11 PM

HD Version on YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OXQt52WGB2Y

stepintoliquid 03-06-2009 2:27 PM

Boat looks good!

phila 03-07-2009 6:52 AM

Just for the record here. I have known Adam McCall for years know. The man is smart and knows what he is doing. I rode behind the A22 about a week ago here in Orlando with him and Randall. The wake is legit. I landed heelside and toeside wake2wake 7's and a backside 5. As well as every other trick I know how to do. The wake is professional grade.

xbones 03-07-2009 7:42 AM

OWNED!!!!! Phil shuttin' down all the haters

Hope all is well in O-Town, and my pops says thanks for the boots. He's gonna shred them tomorrow for the first time. Next time me, Alex, Jeff and crew come down you've gotta get us out on an A22 to test it out. I was stoked to see your pic in the latest Byerly ad in WakeMag. Congrats.

eyekahn 03-08-2009 6:51 AM

Not hating. Just wanted to know why they do not have any in the video"s. Good to hear someone's opinion that has actually rode behind the boat.

hfpesko 03-08-2009 9:09 PM

Saw it at the h-town boat show, great idea and Adam McCall is really chill and very intellegent. Great product for sure

mwelly007 03-10-2009 2:06 PM

Is the WEDGE option worth it? The plug and play definitely seems to be worth it, but not sure on the wedge. What do you think?

malibuboats4 03-10-2009 7:54 PM

^^
yes, it is.
