so where have yall been so far this winter? ive been to northstar *really nice*, sierra-at-tahoe *slushy mid afternoon*, sierra summit *horrible*, boreal *okay for a 2 hr ride..*, sugar bowl *good pre-season*, and squaw *kinda crowded but good snow*. any of you guys think different or have good suggestions on where to go next? is mammoth good already?

cwbboarder37, i think that Mammoth is doing pretty good so far. There have been a lot of people up there lately but other then that i would chose it over sierra summit and sierra at tahoe anyday. You will get more riding time in up there. Squaw and Mt. Rose are usually the most crowded because that where a lot of us locals go for the day. Try Heavenly, it's a big mountain, kinda crowded, but there is a lot to do there. There's a bunch of terrain parks for all different skill levels and a brand new super pipe, it's way sick check it out!

Northstar - Great Park. Avoid on holidays, lines get long. Not a ton of 'hardcore' runs but if you love the park you will love Northstar. <BR> <BR>Squaw - Was slaking a bit on the park this year, at least in the beginning. Good on busy days because the lines go pretty quick, and there are so many chairs you can avoid the crowds. Plus awsome food! (Wildflower Cookie Shop!) <BR> <BR>Diamond Peak - Fun for a litlle after school, or 'I can only go out for a few hours' kind of run. Also fun on powder days... <BR> <BR>Sorry those are the only three I go to...due to passes, and cheap tickets from work...
