mastercraft x1 surf setup
 

i have a 2008 x1...was curious if anyone on here has one....and how do you have it set up to get the best surf wave and a longer pocket?

I have a 2006 X1 and so far the best surf wake I can get is by putting a 750 in the surf side rear locker and a 500 on the surf side seat. Not great but surfable. It is clean but a very short pocket and yes i tried adding weight in the nose to make the pocket longer. 10.4 mph? I too would love to hear some surf set ups for your X1. I understand the X1 is narrow and not very deep which is not the best combo for a surf boat. Also would love to see some pictures if you have them.

I've been running the stock hard tank full, the stock center bag full and then a 440 fly high sack on the side seat I am going to add another 440 to the front bow next time and see if it helps. I get a nice tall wake now but i have to stay right up on the deck. I'm really thinking about getting a different boat in the winter season. Not only to get a better surf wake, but more room inside. I usually have about 6 adults an 2 to 3 kids in boat so it's really crampe for room
