Tower Speakers
 

Bought these tower speakers from the classifieds on the site. Speaker pods were all discolored and nasty. Took them apart and painted them to match my boat. Thought I would just share this with everyone snice I only have about 275 bucks invested in the speakers and paint. Way better than about a grand for wetsounds.

Did you just sand and paint, no primer?

Sand with 320 grit, then self etched, sealed, based, and clear coated. Sealer is basically primer with a converter in it so that you dont have to sand, and it will take care of small imperfetions.

That just comfirmed I know nothing about painting. I was wanting to paint my cans but I was just going to sand and paint.

I would like to have your boat and your garage!!!
Speakers look great!!! I might spray mine.
