Anybody familar w/ Mercruiser wiring harness

Ok so i bought this 2003 sanger v210 3 years ago just as a hull and some ripped up interior. And well ive working on it ever since. I bought this black scorpion motor last year that was in a fire and never could get the fuel injection going so i switched it to carburated. This year i got a new black scropion motor with fuel injection and it came with a boat wiring harness too. So im trying to wire this thing up and this is what i gathered.

BIG RED-12v Main power
BIG BLACK- Main Ground
3 other wires- tach, oil pressure, water temp
there is another purple wire that i am unsure of but its the only wire left and i blieve its a 12v switched/12v while cranking to initiate the ecm Correct? and when i turn the key the fuel pump clicks and does not pump any fuel up to the fuel rail so im thinking that his pump is suppose to buzz rather than clicks correct?

Any help would be appriciated.

Thanks

Purple is switched power with ignition "on"
Gray is tach sender
Blue is oil pressure
Tan is temp
brown / white is the alarm circuit
If the fuel pump only clicks the relay may be getting power or the pump is stuck.
Old trick for stuck pumps>> pull the harness plug off the pump and using small jumpers run it in both directions for a few seconds. Cures atrophy.

thats a good trick ill try it when i get home. Its a brand new pump and and was only used to transfer water through the cooler so maybe something could have gotten in there when the hoses were off.

THanks for the help

^^^^^Those wire colors only apply to the starting/charging harness not the engine or fuel injection harness.
