All right I'm ready to get going on this ballast project and I wanted to see if I could get some opinions. The boat is a 1999 Supra Santera same haul as the pre 05 ssv. I do not have the playpen seating though. Also the gas tank is pushed so far forward that the ski locker is eliminated. I do have a hatch underneath as illustrated in the fig but I don't think there is enough room to realistically put a sac there. Plenty of room to mount the pumps though so that’s nice. Another downside to the boat is the back compartments are pretty small, only about 32" in length. Kind of limits me on the sacs I can put back there as well. I currently have the fly high sacs that come stock with the supra or moomba's back there. I also have a 300 tube that I had been using in the front and about 200Lbs of weights that I hide under the front seats. So I wanted to use aerators because I simply cannot afford the cost of reversible’s and I wanted a little more speed. The plumbing issue’s on the back sac should not be that difficult. The front sac though I kind of wanted to have the plumbing in place and then be able to quickly roll out the sack connect and fill and empty with a switch. For the front sac a reversible pump seems much better suited? Also should I invest in the fly high integrated bow sac or just keep the weights up there. I have heard that you don’t get that much weight from that sack. Another sac I could use in the bow would be the launch pad bow sac which would hold more than the current one. Are you making it fully auto? if not and you want semi auto RULE makes a 4000gph pump that will fill a bow bag and v-drive sacs in like 5 min... then all you need is some smaller pump to get it out (you have gravity helping, depending mount) <BR> <BR>I would keep the back the same, but where the center one is switch that out for an integraded bow sac. <BR> <BR><a href="http://fatsac.com/FlyHigh/FlyHighSacs.html" target="_blank">http://fatsac.com/FlyHigh/FlyHighSacs.html</a>

Trying to make it fully auto. I thought about the integrated but I just don't think I will be able to get enough weight. I'd like to know which boat that sack was designed for because it just doesn't seem like most boats would get enough room in the very nose for the bulk of the bag to fill up

how much room is under your seats? if you make it fully auto, you could hide some tube sacs on each side. with a little lead, you might be able get enough weight up there with either two tubes or the integrated.

The problem with those bags is I don't think I will be able to fit any of them anywhere. I think I will probably have to use the integrated and the bow sac that I have in the pic to get the weight I need up front.

what are the dimensions under your seats? doesn't really matter... <BR> <BR>i've got a 700 # sacs under under each side of my bow. Do they fill all the way? of course not, but its the easiest way hide ballast up there. and I pd $70 each. problem solved.
