Grant I believe the shop you mean is Sounds Unlimited. Thats where Jason Cho works. They are located in Modesto, and do nice work. They install lots boat systems. I am happy with my system from them.

Rob-
Can you post some pics of your system? I've got a V215 on order that will need a system, and I'm looking for an installer.

Thanks,
Mark

Rob. I think Sounds Unlimited either split up or this is a division of Sounds Unlimited that does only boats. Jason is the guy at Liqued Trendz
www.liquedtrendz.net
I met him at the boat show this year, thats how I found out about Liqued Trends I never knew he worked for Sounds unlimited.

Ok, it sort of sounds like Liquid Trendz must be the name of the marine side of the shop. I just happened to be down there this past weekend with my boat, and saw that Jason there, so I got a little confused when Grant said he worked at a different shop. Anyway Sounds Unlimited/Liquid Trendz does good work, and the guaranty their work and parts.
Mark, my boat is at the shop right now, just dropped it off. I can take pictures in a few days. Also, since I see you live in Tracy as well, you are more than welcome to stop by some time and check it out. Either way is no problem.

Do some reasearch, buy the book The Car Stereo Cookbook, buy all your gear on eBay and do it yourself. I did up my boat last season, dropped about $2,300 on equipment and the boat absolutely thumps. It takes some time to do right but well worth the thousands of extra dolla's you'll be droppin' to have someone else do it for you.

If you don't have time or don't want to deal with it, sounds like you have great suggestions agove.

Cheers,

Holby
Hey Holby. I take it you ride in the slough Foster City, I have been out there a few times but never with a boat with a system, I know it's tight in there, Question whem you guys ride can you/do you play your stereo loud? I would think people would get pissed!

ridn9high 03-15-2004 8:44 AM

Holby- On my boat I did all the stereo and light work. I mounted amps, speakers and deck. Also I mounted and made the light bar. It saved me so much money and looks/sounds great.

But my buddy doesn't have the time to do all that and wants to get it professinally done.
