My name is Jonathan Turcotte Owner and Operator of Paradise Adventures Cost Rica.

To expand the market here in Costa Rica I have spent a great deal of time and effort putting the word out there globally.

I Moved to Nuevo Arenal February 2008, was operating on the Pacific Coast, in the province of Guanacaste in the Bahia Célèbre, situated in the Papagayo peninsula two years prior.

This town now called Nuevo Arenal as the old Arenal is at the bottom of the lake. Thirty years ago, ICE filled the lake and sank the town bellow it. The lake is now damned and used for electricity.

Lake Arenal has a reputation of being one of the top ten places in the world for Kite boarding and windsurfing. The winds on this fifty-mile lake are very predictable, blowing in the same directions for the majority. What makes Lake Arenal great for wakeboarding is the amount of coves and islands that break down the winds. The lake itself has a boomerang shape to it and at the end where the winds are blowing from is a huge wall Called, Vulcan Arenal.

There are many places on Lake Arenal you can find great conditions for wakeboarding; all have their own special charm.
The volcano being by far the most magical, just approaching Vulcan Arenal astounds you. The volcano rumbles, pumps smoke and spits boulders and lava every day. During the evening on a clear night, you can experience the awe of one of Mother Nature’s light shows. Pictures are worth many words but even words cannot explain how incredible this experience is. I feel fortunate to have the opportunity to ride in such an amazing spot, and feel the need for others to experience this.

Lake Arenal is part of the Guanacaste Province and is situated between the towns of Nuevo Arenal, La Fortuna, Monterverde and Tilaran. Lake Arenal is also conveniently located between Costa Rica’s two major airports; The Daniel Odober Airport in Liberia and The Juan Santa Maria in San Jose the capital of Costa Rica.

From the San Jose Airport, you could make it here by bus or car in three and half hours or by plane into la Fortuna in less than 40 minutes. From the Liberia Airport, you could make it here by car or bus in less than 2 hours.

Nuevo Arenal is situated above the lake, throughout the town you can take in some spectacular views of Lake Arenal and its Volcano. The town has a small town feel, locals are friendly and exited to meet and mingle with the tourist. Nuevo Arenal has plenty of great places to eat, ranging from local specialties, pizza joints, steak houses, German cuisine, fine coffee shops and one of lonely planet’s 2009 number one recommendations The Gingerbread Restaurant.
The boat is a 2005 Tahoe 195, it runs 19.5 in length, 9 feet in width with deep V hull, powered by a 4.3L.mpi vortex with 220 hp, equipped with a tower, and plenty of room for 8 passengers, Polk Audio tower speaker and marine amplifiers.
The wake has and glassy approach, with a nice lip and plenty hard.
Thank you for taking the time to discover Paradise Adventures Costa Rica and its magical location In Nueva Arenal. Please feel free to share this information with anyone you wish, should you have any questions please contact us.
Contact us for more information on pricing and availability; we are ready to make your visit to Neuvo Arenal Costa Rica a vacation.

Accomodations
Paradise Adventures Costa Rica’s new home @ Coceptos Artisticoss

Paradise Adventure Costa Rica is pleased to offer accommodations to visitors from such an amazing location.

Coceptos Artisticos is not just your average lodging. 8 persons an hour with 60 minutes in an hour leaves 7,5 minute per person including changing riders and gear... That does not sound like a great deal to me for $40 a person...

paradise_adventures_costa_rica 02-12-2009 10:41 AM

That price includes lodging for 8 people, I guess some peoples mathematical skills are not up to par.
If lodging is not required it actually works out to be $25 and hour. let me show you how this works
you take 8 people and multiply by 40, this equals 320, not 200?
so if it is riding one is only interested in it would be 200 divide by 8 equaling $25.00
before you try to diss someones efforts in sharing this amazing experience with others, at least understand basics.
Pura Vida, Jonny

(Message edited by paradise_adventures_costa_rica on February 12, 2009)

(Message edited by paradise_adventures_costa_rica on February 12, 2009)

Paradise Adventures Costa Rica is a safe and smart choice for wakeboarding, other watersports and Boat tours on ALL of Lake Arenal Costa Rica.

We offers wakeboarding and watersports action at the base (meters) of Costa Rica’s Arenal Volcano. An experienced driver and the boats 9-foot (width) beam and deep V-hull make for a smooth, safe and dry ride to Arenal Volcano. The waves are often very big in the middle making in difficult if not impossible for many boats of smaller size and lighter weight to reach the volcano.

The water at the volcano is very flat. The damn and the volcano act as a shield deflecting the winds, which blow from December to April down to the opposite end of the lake. This end of Lake Arenal is known as the second best place to windsurf and kite board in the world.

I did my research when looking for a boat to do business here in Costa Rica. This 22-mile lake, with strong winds is similar to lakes I have been on before. I knew I would need a long enough and wide enough boat to handle the chop to reach the flat waters at the Volcano.

Many coves and bays are flat, but short, causing one to have to turn back into itself. Having a large enough boat allows us at PACR to provide our customers with a satisfying ride.

The boats capacity is rated for eight passengers or 1850 lbs.

Pura Vida, Jonny

careful....you're about the cross the "free advertising" line.....

paradise_adventures_costa_rica 02-14-2009 11:41 AM

was unaware of one, thanks for the heads up

wakebrdr38 02-14-2009 5:26 PM

The boat is a tahoe... they are junk and i can say that cus i worked for tracker, I would never pay that to ride behind that even if it was located on the moon! The 195 is good for fishing and hanging out, and thats about it

tripsw 02-15-2009 10:07 AM

Well Kevin, luckily you can also ride a loaded Nautique 2001 at the same lake for less than half the price(!!)

Even when someone's not aware of a "free advertising" line, they should be aware of something called "ethics" or "web etiquette"; you just don't spam a forum you don't frequent (or any other forum) with you brochure text on the day you register. Twice.

Especially posting and replying to your own posts under another name is very, VERY not done Jonnyboy. Or should I say Glen (sparar)...?
"By Glen (sparar) on Saturday, December 20, 2008 - 2:10 pm:

Wow, those photos look awesome! ive looked on your website and there are no prices? how much will it cost to visit Paradise Adventures for a week with four friends?

totally cool site dude too
Glen"

"Totally cool site dude too", uh huh, something fishy there...
And yes, look when they both registered. The same day, what a coincidence!
And see who's mentioned on "Glen's" website as a "succes story" (LOL)... YES, it's MR. Jonathan Turcotte! What a coincidence!

I've seen people being banned from forums for less...
