I have a 1997 Sunsetter VLX. It throws a great wake. Here is a pic I took this weekend of my brother riding.

what kinda weight you have in there??
That picture was with the MLS(1200 rear, 400 locker) plus the wedge, and about 350 in the bow. There was only me and one other person in the boat.

The MLS had 1200 in the rear? I thought it was 250 or 350 per side. Did you install the MLS, because they didn't have rear tanks before 2000 or 2001, I think.

They are not tanks, they are sacs. Technically, I believe they are 540 per side, not 600. They are launchpad sacs that fill the whole compartment. The guy I bought the boat from had the MLS installed by Atlanta Inboards. I have to manually fill a bow sac now that I have the wedge installed.

I rode a 200 VLX this weekend with the locker sack and 12 people on the boat and the wake was ridiculous.

Under normal conditions, with a couple of sacks in the rear, one in the center, and some lead or a small sack up front, the wake is awesome.
