First off I can't demo any boards because I live in Alaska. I'm looking for any opinions on the LF Fish 137. I'm either going to get that or the Natural 144. I have read all the talk on the Natural and I know it is a sweet ride and I would love to ride it but the Fish just sounds so damn fun! Help me.....

I ride a 129 fish (I'm 6' 175 lbs) and I love it. It's easy to break loose when you want to but has a good locked on feel when edging and landing. It ollies well and I like it for an overall board. I would recommend it highly.

If you're riding an era 142 right now than get the 133 fish.

I'm 6' 230lbs. We put the boat in the water in late april and ride until september......october if your really brave.

That is a lot longer than I thought. <BR> <BR>At 230 the Fish 137 would be great for you.

go with the 137 I am 5'11 and 165 and ride the 133.

Do you guys ride it with or without the fins? Is the Slaysh really as good as the hype? And how do you think it compares to the Natural?

Justin, <BR> <BR>We ride the Fish 133 and love it so far. Nice comfy landings on the old knees. I'm about 190, 6'2". I'm still contemplating if I should be riding a bigger board to get some more pop. If you can't demo the Fish you need to know it's a pretty different board. It's easy to break loose with fins. W/o it's a wakeskate. I had a tough time getting much speed on it. I use it as a surface trick and 1 wake 180/360 board. I could never get much pop on it. I can get way in the flats with my Team. Not my fish. I'm an intermediate boarder so that may have something to do with it.

At 6'2" 190lbs I have ridden both the 129 and 133. I felt comfortable on both and may even prefer the 129. <BR> <BR>I had NO problem getting pop out of this board, especially out into the flats. Lands like a feather. <BR> <BR>The Fish's ride is very unique, but it is a blast.

I have a fish 133, I'm 6' 190lbs. I found one cheap so I had to try it out. I rode it about 5 times at the end of last season. It's a fun board, I think I may ride it full time this upcoming season. I noticed it pops more from the back foot area than the middle, maybe just the way I was riding it. I found that it pops really well after loading up the line, but not so much when you get lazy with it. Personally, I felt it popped harder than my 04 premier, landed much softer and was just as easy to get out in the flats. I'm kind of nervous about how easy I'll be nose diving landings. I would say at your size, if you're looking for a full time board, go 137. Late april to early october season? Thats about the same as here in New Hampshire.

Thanks for all of the input guys! Since I can't demo I rely on wakeworld a lot for info to base my decisions on. With the board being so short is nose diving a problem I should watch for? And Pat, early October is only for the die hard-don't care if it hurts crowd. Last year I was the last one in the water for a surf sesh. It was the last weekend of September and it was freakin cold! It was clear calm and sunny but the water was about 58-56 degrees. I was the only one to get in that day and we pulled the boat and winterized it after that.

Justin The fish is a great board. On edge it is a very fast board. Your approach with a loaded line is very controlable. And the pop and release is very predictable. NOt good for sliders the concave is to rocky. But its needed the For the landings though very soft landings. I can go as big if not bigger than my old Substance.

"W/o it's a wakeskate" + "I use it as a surface trick and 1 wake 180/360 board" = I'm an intermediate boarder so that may have something to do with it. probably........ <BR> <BR> If you hit it hard it pops like no other (haven't ridden the marius) and lands so soft, the soft landings are my fav thing about the ride. <BR> <BR>it will take a bit to get used to, if you haven't been riding for very long or are used to longer boards (140ish+) the nose will seem very short leading to some good bails, I started with the binders set one back from full out and after a week put them all the way out. One other thing, it likes a clean wake with little or no curl on top otherwise the nose digs in pretty bad. <BR> <BR>Great board, I even surfed it last summer

About the fish being not so hot on sliders... I grew up skating and snowboarding and have had my fill of my body contacting hard imovable objects like rails and sliders. I like to watch some sick jibbin but I've learned my lessons.
