Is there any benefit to using a smaller a smaller board that your suspossed to ? Im about 185 lbs and just bought a used ronix 132 (ONE), what are the pros and cons? lighter weight?

I'm pretty sure that board is too small for you. I rode the exact board two weeks ago and felt like i was sinking the whole time. I just kept telling him to speed up. I couldn't figure out what the problem was until I got back in the boat and looked at the size. It was my friends board and I just wanted to try the One.

i'm 6ft, 180lb, and rode my buddies 134 ibex this weekend just to see how it felt. way too small for me but it was really easy to spin, and easy to correct board positioning in the air on some inverts due to its weight/size.

Ya with a board that small you would have to go a lot faster than your suppost to. But it will make it a lot easier to spin because of the size

I am 6'1 and 240lbs and I can goof off with 131/132 (its the girls board) and I think its fun if your not too serious, however its the wet surface of the board, and it varies from board to board with the shape and width. look at the fish you could prob. ride a 129...

The one rides a lot smaller than the actual length. I think it is because the nose sticks out a bit after it gets narrow. I would say if you can return it and get a bigger one you might want to do that. If not I would ride it for a few weeks and figure out if you can handle the shorter length.
