How many impellers you think they go through riding that shallow?
Figure it would be in New Zealand, there is no way they would let you do that in the USA, the liability insurance would be huge, and the minute anyone in state office found out about it they would impose regulations or just plain shut it down.

My buddy sent me this pict a few years ago if them in Oregon on the Rogue River... They are crazy...

That looks like fun, but I'm not sure I would trust my family in the hands of that guy smashing through a narrow river. One mistake and it's all over.

That was nuts. No way i get in that boat.
I watched a race in front of my parents house on the rogue a few years back. Watched a boat crash on shore about 50 yards from the house. Those guys are crazy!

That looks like a blast. I'd love to do that but yeah I'd be a little nervous to take the kids in the boat.

I've done it a few times, its safe as houses. Its the bungee jumping that really scares the crap out of me.
