Stereo help

The stereo in the boat after about 15 min of using it while driving starts having a high pitch whine and the music cuts out completely so all you hear is the whine.if I let it sit for ten minutes with out using it I can turn it on and it will only work for another ten minutes before it starts the whine again. I have checked all the connections and nothing seems loose. The system has these components: tower has one pair of pro 485 with a sync 4 amp pushing them,
Clarion Cdm5 deck
Wet sounds ws420 equalizer
2 pairs of Rockford fosgate m8 speakers with Rockford fosgate punch 600x4 amp
2 12inch kicker subs with Rockford fosgate punch 1500x1 amp

Thanks for any help

What's your battery/charging system made up of?
Sounds like your battery(s) are not keeping up to me

I have 2 kinetics batterys for the stereo and one interstate for everything else. My boat is a 2006 Sanger 215 with the black scorpion I think it has a 75 amp alternator

Well it sounds to me like you might have low voltage issues.. You have close to 3000 watts running there and if you are playing it a lot and only charging them with your 75 watt alternator your probably not getting them near enough charge. How old are the batteries? Do you ever top them off with a shore charger?

I'll pull my battery's and have them tested

Why has no one reccomended the use of a Voltmeter. It is a simple tool that can diagnos soooo many things.

If you are interested in going to thru a systematic process and not having to start pulling batteries in an attempt to "take shots" at the problem, let me know. I'd be happy to post up about 8 steps that will take you 20 minutes and probably help you solve your issues.

Murphy please post the steps I would rather do that pull things out
Thanks
