This new version of photomerge is just the shizz! It's a beautiful morning here so I threw the 45 TS-e on the XTi and fired off 6 portrait shots handheld. Here is the result. The size allowed by WW just doesn't do it justice. If anyone would like a full size jper to check out just PM me. the actual size is 9944 X 3988 pixels.

That looks flawless, I hate to see what the full pictures looks like.
I'm saving my pennies for the release.

Thanks for posting.

CS3 is excellent. My favorite thing is the ability to open and edit JPEGs in Camera Raw...cannot say how useful this is.

I'm too lazy to shoot everything in Raw format.

The photomerge is excellent also. Here is a merge from a couple of shots from last summer....Anybody know where this is?

very nice... I'm convinced! Looks like the Fu is going to be upgrading to CS3..

Bakes - FL..?

If you have CS2 you can upgrade now for free, all it wants is a CS2 serial number. I haven't had any problems with the beta other then some of the features don't work yet. Adjusting jpegs in the RAW convertor is pretty cool feature, I got used to that feature in Aperture.

very nice.. just downloaded CS3 today!

I noticed that Bridge CS3 was part of the package.. so far so good.. seems to me more stable than the original version of Bridge.

Bakes - so do I win a prize or what..? lol

It's to bad photomerge can't do a sequence shot.

It's not that smart, it thinks you only want one image of the rider in the final image! However you can place all your frames and then separate them and then photomerge them back together to take advantage of the blending modes. Probably too much work though given other, better ways to do that part.

I've got a sequence of Chris I tried it on. Maybe I'll put it together next time it rains on the weekend.
