I haven't seen any Brostock 2009 updates on here yet, but they have some on Stokemeter forums...

Brostock Updates

Some Videos...

BTW, just so everyone knows. If the site of Brostock doesn't get cleaned up this year it will not be allowed at Lake Powell in the future.

Beaches were a mess last year due to lack of regulation/staff/facilities. It caused the NPS to make additional demands on the organizers and the approval of the permit came late due to the disagrements between the two sides.

Apparently it almost didn't happen this year. This is not the image of wakeboarding that we want to leave behind.

Pick up your trash and leave the place the way you found it!

It would take a week of cleaning just to pick up all the beer cans. I'd be concerned about the houseboats too.

Bro Stock area was pretty clean for how many people were there. I always picked up 1 or 2 cans or cups on the way to my tent. The chopper flights blew a ton of trash around but Sunday morning there were 3 guys from that house boat that picked up trash for about an hour. They had a few things to help from the trash and it's just the people that drop it and say F it. I should have some of my pics up later tonight, if my head will every clear from the bottle flu . Brostock 2009 ='s SUCCESS!

Here is a few pics from a buddie that was there http://www.overboardphotography.com/galleries/

(Message edited by downfortheride on June 15, 2009)
