Jonathan, check out the USCG vest from JetPilot. I can't say enough about the quality and comfort of these vest. I personally wear the Stance vest, it's comfy and floats great. The Cell Block is also a great choice. Shaun Murray's Full Metal Jacket is new, but he usually only puts his name on quality gear. Check it out....

Wakeside.com

ps. They also have some great stocking stuffers and FREE shipping on all DVD's and orders over $50. The wishlist is a good idea if you need to drop a hint to good ol' mom and dad for x-mas.

I picked up the 10-12 Hyperlite Catalyst jacket on sale last year for like $50 and its great. Very comfortable, thin, and floats awesome for a non-USCG jacket.

ha Mango... your back. Yea I ride the Jetpilot Stance Molded vest. Floats me barely enough but I forget its on, I've taken more abrupt feeling falls with my older USCGA Stance then the molded one.. But your so much safer with the USCGA vest

Cheak out the new Excute vests as well, I've heard great things!
