Just got all the little marks from wakeboards buffed out of the transom right where it meets the swimstep on my Sanger. I remember seeing someone on here had a protective strip along the transom, just above the swim step, to prevent wakeboards from leaving marks when people are putting on/taking off. Would love some suggestions - who was that? What was the strip? Any help would be appreciated....

I too use and have on my V215 keelshield, cant even see it.

I dont have it yet, but I plan on getting a car product that is a 3M clear rock guard made for the front of vehicles. Any body shop should install it and it is pretty cheap. Clear too.

Dont waste your time with the clear stick on 3m stuff unless its really thick. The edges of the boards will chew it up in no time. I too run the Gator Grip on my transom and it's worked perfectly.

(Message edited by wake_upppp on January 11, 2010)

I had the 3M clear stuff on my V210 for a while. It did the job but got jacked up. If I did it again I'd go with the gator grip.
