Rush Limbaugh learns the meaning of "pulling out"

http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.co...203;?hpt=hp_c2

"No one with daughters the age of Sandra Fluke, and I have two, could possibly abide the insult and abuse heaped upon this courageous and well-intentioned young lady," Carbonite CEO David Friend said.

psudy 03-05-2012 12:30 PM

Sandra Fluke? Is she the slut that thinks everyone should get free rubbers?

wake77 03-05-2012 2:29 PM

^What an awesome display of intelligence Paul. Stay classy.

bruizza 03-05-2012 3:32 PM

She did not once in her entire statement mention her sexual habits or those of the girls she talked about. She mentioned the widely accepted use of birth control for medical conditions. Leave it to good ole Rush to totally twist around what she said. If you don't believe me you tube her statement.

ottog1979 03-05-2012 4:40 PM

^Furthering my belief the argument and stance are just the means to publicity, ratings, and the money. Limbaugh, Maddow, Coulter, Olbermann... All the same.

ttrigo 03-05-2012 4:59 PM

Stop by any clinic to pick up free condoms. Free contraception is already readily available.
But yes, Rush is a tool.

pesos 03-05-2012 5:48 PM

The issue she was testifying about had nothing to do with condoms.

clubjoe 03-06-2012 12:43 AM

Just another activist whining about wanting more free stuff ordered by their government.....Maybe if she went to a 3k cheaper college she could afford her birth control.... Or she could show some restraint. Or she could budget. Or she could find a college that provides it. Or she could make wannabe baby-daddy pay for it. Ot maybe she could try another non-child risk sex option (if you know what I mean). Or she could just get pregnant and abort it.

in short.... HOW BOUT A LITTLE PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY?

The good news is, El Rushbo started his show right on time without said sponsor/s, and looks like full steam ahead...... :)

I thought he ranted a little much about it, but it certainly made me want to attend her college... heh heh heh......

wake77 03-06-2012 3:28 AM

^You do understand that what she was speaking about birth control pills, which have uses beyond sexual intercourse? The same college she attends has no problem with men being prescribed Viagra, Cialis, etc.

pesos 03-06-2012 5:13 AM

She was asked to testify about medical non-contraceptive use. 1 in 7 women need the pill for non-contraceptive purposes. But by all means keep idolizing the obese thrice-married drug addict lol (oops sorry he just got married a 4th time).

Clubjoe, how about fatty takes some personal responsibility instead of whining about how the left "made me do it." Quite a role model!

lol. I thought you would like that. It was a joke.

clubjoe 03-06-2012 7:31 AM

HATER!!!.... HATER!!!!!

Wake77 and Wes are HAAAAAATTTERRRRRSSSS cuz they don't agree with me!!!! Wow so that's what it feels like to toss that out there whenever conservatives disagree with Libs :D

The point was in my first sentence... And it doesn't matter what else the College offers, or how many times Rush has been married, or what meds he became addicted to or what ANY birth control med is for....... it's a biiger argument than that (but if you listened to Rush more, you'd realize that :))

J/K about the hater stuff.....................................sorta... . ha ha

On Polycystic ovary syndrome:

If fertility is not the primary aim, then menstruation can usually be regulated with a contraceptive pill, though the effects are caused by substituted hormones that can easily cause more problems if the pill is taken for a long period of time. The purpose of regulating menstruation is essentially for the woman's convenience, and perhaps her sense of well-being; there is no medical requirement for regular periods, so long as they occur sufficiently often (see below).

More crap started by liberals. Why do you think they chose to put up a Harvard Law student instead of Laquisha from out in the hood? It is about Obama trying to bully the Catholic Church and others like it. They are trying to win the public opinion war. If it really matter beyond actual birth control, they would simply re brand it for the other purpose and everyone would pay for it. Don't fall for this fake outrage. Nothing to see here.

fly135 03-06-2012 9:31 AM

Contraception is cheaper than unwanted pregnancies. And church businesses aren't churches. I have no problem with contraception being required on health ins plans. Take away the tax deduction for HI payments and remove the link between employment and HI. Then the problem will go away, along with the HI companies and overpriced healthcare.

brettw 03-06-2012 4:49 PM

Are there really still people out there that respect and listen seriously to Rush's rants?

pesos 03-06-2012 6:41 PM

Lol he's doubling down: http://www.forbes.com/sites/jeffberc...arre-she-says/

What is it with all of these young single white women, overeducated — doesn’t mean intelligent. For example, Tracie McMillan, the author of this book, seems to be just out of college and already she has been showered with awards, including the 2006 James Aronson Award for Social Justice Journalism.

Um... she graduated college in 99... And she has a B.A. - I guess that is "overeducated" in Rush's book? I guess he thinks women shouldn't go to college at all... What a strange fat doctor shopping dbag...

Investors Flee Carbonite Stock after Limbaugh Announcement...

Pretty shortsighted article; maybe they should take a look at more than one day on the market for Carbonite (who has been struggling to keep up with competitors):

I guess the stench of Rush isn't easy to get rid of.:D

snyder 03-07-2012 8:29 AM

nonetheless, pretty high volume sell-off yesterday with no other related carbonite news. Maybe a competitor released earnings or something yesterday. I'm sure their downward slide made the decision easier for some, but his public stance on this issue obviously hasn't helped his company.

Not that it matters anyway. The left has yet again, successfully turned the discussion from the true issue by making their favorite whipping boy the topic of the day. he's so mean, ain't he... that "strange fat doctor shopping dbag" that he is. how dare he call her a slut.

pesos 03-07-2012 8:31 AM

I pulled my mom off Carbonite last week (before this debacle happened) because they just aren't competitive for lower volume accounts like hers (free dropbox plus a few referrals to pick up some extra space). Maybe I contributed to the downslide ;-)

fly135 03-07-2012 10:56 AM

What's the true issue?

wake77 03-07-2012 10:59 AM

^I guess you have to tune into Rush's program to know the truth. Or you can ask SomeoneElse.
