I am 15 and 5'11, 150 lbs. I was looking at the 2009 Jetpiot Cause and wasn't quite sure what size to get. I want some growing room but I still want it to be effective. Also, would it be better to go ahead and spend 80 more bucks for the Alpha?

Thanks

How is the Alpha in general ?

I am also 5'11.5" 150 pounds I would not get a large at your size......suits stretch with age and unless your gonna gain 50 lbs over the short term the suit will accomodate a normal weight gain over some time. If you get a large I dont believe it would be functional. My medium fits snug...and a friend of mine who is 160 has no problems with it either. (mine is a neil pryde medium tall, dont know that jet pilot sizing would be that much different)

I'm 6' 145... I also wear a Medium Tall.
But your still growing! I'd buy a large.

(Message edited by zuka666 on January 19, 2009)

Alpha has been a great suit until it hits below 55-60 degree water temps. Lower than that, you will definitely need drysuit IMO. Comfortable and not too snug.

medium or medium tall

smaller is better then big for wet suits
a big suit does nothing but let water flush in and out

I think I am going to wait until Spring to make the decision, that way I will be able to better know what size. Anyways, I think I am going to get the Alpha.
