A friend and I just started a new division on Reddit that focuses exclusively on wake-related news.

If you've never heard of Reddit, it's very similar to Digg, only not stupid. It's a social news website on which users can post links to content on the internet. Other users may then vote the posted links up or down, to become more or less prominent on the home page. The site also has discussion areas for each posted link in which users may discuss the posted links and vote for or against others' comments.

A disclaimer, I nor my friend are making any profit on this, nor do we see the community as competition to WakeWorld in any way, we just want to discuss what's going on in the wakeboarding world with fellow enthusiasts.

Registering an account is as easy as picking a name and password. No email confirmation required, seriously. Come join us at http://www.reddit.com/r/wake. It's all user-driven, so for it to work best we need a community.
