I just wanted to take a moment and say Thanks to all the folks who responded to my "idiotic" questions while we were shopping for our new boat this past spring. In the end we decided a new X2 This turns out to be the best choice for my kids at their levels boarding and skating. <BR><img src="http://www.wakeworld.com/MB/Discus/messages/3183/746338.jpg" alt="Upload">

What year is that? <BR>Congragulations. What made you pick the x-2. We are about to buy a new boat, have an offer in on a VTX. There is an 06 x-2 for sale here around the same price as the VTX, so I'm wondering why you chose it.

We shopped Tige and the Malibu VTX and I had the kids ride behind both as was suggested by those who responded to my original requests for help. No doubt the Malibu is a beautiful boat and we almost bought an 08. In my opinion though, after running the boat all summer, the X2 has a better wake. My kids board, skate and surf, and the Mastercraft showed it is versatile enough to be great at everything. Their teacher runs an 05 X-Star and told me he our boat is more versatile than his. <BR>We LOVE our X2!!!
