New guy here, need advice

Hello,
Total noob here in need of some advice. I'm 42 and just god divorced. I wanted something I could do with my three grade school aged boys to have fun this summer so I bought a boat. Nothing too fancy, just a 19' Chaparral H20 Sport. (no watersports tower :( )Now I'm thinking I want to learn to wakeboard because I want to be able to teach my kids. I've never waterskied but I have a friend who says he can teach me to wakeboard.

Right now I'm trying to round up the required gear. Where do you buy this stuff? Can anyone recommend a board, rope etc for me? I'm 5'10" 190 lbs. My kids range from 55-90lbs. and I'm guessing I need a kid sized board for them. Guess I need some good life vests too, anything else? Any good online videos to learn about this sport?

Thanks in advance!

You can start off on something like a motive or state. EVO has good prices.

Get a decent continuous board as it will be more predictable. My kids ride a nemesis board. Not sure what the size goes up to as mine are 45-60lbs.

Craigslist is loaded with great deals on used wakeboard gear around here. You should get a 140+ sized board and a 118-128 for your kids.
