I am having some trouble with my scarecrow. My first invert was a front roll, and I have them almost every try now. I have a good TS progressive edge, and can get good enough pop to throw huge front rolls. When I try to throw my crow,I can't get all the way to fakie. I start to turn, but the handle wont go all the way to my opposite hip and it turns into a half-ass elephant. Please Help!

Hi robert,
I was in the same situation. The way i got round the problem was come harder than a front roll. When your going up the wake shift your weight toward the nose. As you come off the wake the extra speed throws it more behind you keeping the rope more taught. I have found on a crow at front roll speed it "stall" out at the last point which is the critical point seeing that its the rope that pulls you round the last part.
If you throw it too slow it plays hell with your knees and "ball bearings" not getting round the last part.

Hope you nail it

elephant - scarecrow, but rewind back to a regular landing. Really concentrate on throwing a frontroll and then bringing the handle to your trailing hip. If need be just use your back arm. That should bring you all the way to regular.
