Did you drill threw the platform? Do you have a pic of the top of the platform? Any pics of boat in the water? Are those trailer LED's

IceCube LED .
No I did not drill all the way through the swim Deck. ( ¼ screws only holding on by about 4 threads, also used silicone)
Did a water test in my pool and works great. I have put about 10 hours of running time on them at my local lake with no problems. Have not had them out at night yet, as we are not allowed on the local lakes after dark. Taking it to Lake Mojave in 2 weeks . Will take picks and post.
Total cost of mod is was $45. for everything

Where do you run the wire back into the boat? Drill a hole in the transom?

mikeski 05-31-2007 11:34 PM

The rub rail goes real low on the back of the 211, I just ran the wire up under the rub rail and drilled a hole under it, ran the wire and siliconed it. The 2" of wire between the rub rail was run under my transom protection pad. The slight bump from the wire is hardly noticable.
