I just picked up my new to me 2001 SAN 210. I love it, the boat is bad azz. We had the stock ballast filled and 8 people in and the wake was crazy. It has so much straight up pop. Is there anyway to mellow the lip out any. I was ridding 70ft back at 22.5 on pp. and it was launching me straight up. Thanks

Put more weight in the nose, it will make the wake rampier.

More weight up front and less in the back will mellow out the steepness and cut down on the trough as well. I usually only fill the back sacs halfway and it is plenty big and more rampy.

750lbs in the nose works very well with 4 people in the boat.

Fly high makes the big triangle bow sac, fits great under the playpen seating, fills to like ~650 lbs.... makes the wake much more mellow

no playpen in the 2001 210. you could go with the integrated bow sac up there though. as everyone has stated more weight up front will make the wake less vert.
|
Don't take any weight out of the rear, but simply add to the bow. then add equally once you get it dialed. You will want a sac in the seating area to balance the wake too.

I have a 2002 and in the bow, there is a cooler. Will the bow sac still work up there? Right not we have ~550 in the ski locker and ~500 in the rear and its real peaky. You have to time your pop just right.
