I don't wanna here any bragging from you Floridians, Texans, Arazonians and Californian's. We have had a horrendous spring here in Seattle.

trickyboarder08 05-13-2008 9:23 AM

Friday and Saturday look like the perfect days to be on the water.

jboard1 05-13-2008 9:26 AM

Ahhhh yeah!!! <BR>I love how this Washington weather can go from 65 to 85 and back down to 65 in a matter of 3 or 4 days...this should be a good weekend tho!

fabs128 05-13-2008 9:41 AM

Still going to suck though El Heff!

x2fanatic 05-13-2008 9:50 AM

Its about time. I almost gave up on good weather anytime soon.

pickle311 05-13-2008 9:58 AM

you won't hear anything from this Texan, it rains here every other day. I hope this crap ends soon, I'm ready for some 100 degree, no wind, and no cloud days

polarbill 05-13-2008 10:21 AM

how early Bruce. I head to work at 7 or 7:30 or so.

dlamont 05-13-2008 11:28 AM

Brett, <BR>I will give you the forcast for Crescent Bar on Memorial Day weekend: "partly cloudy with a high chance of public drunkeness" <BR>Can't wait to watch all the drunks trying to put their boats back on their trailers after a long day a the sandbar. That never gets old.

noti_dad 05-13-2008 11:50 AM

What time Bruce. A couple of us will be there about 10.

ord27 05-13-2008 11:59 AM

right Shane <BR>if it aint rainin, it's windy as heck.....

brucemac 05-13-2008 12:14 PM

brett, i wasn't planning quite that early. i need to help the wife get the kids up and fed. my buddies want me to go saturday, but it's going to be a zoo and my girls got a b-day party in the middle of the afternoon. friday will be way less crowded too. was already planning on taking friday off. <BR> <BR>brett call in sick! <BR> <BR>noti, that sounds good to me if i can't wrangle anybody else to go. <BR> <BR>i can make sure to be there ahead of you know problem. <BR> <BR>wish those docks had cleats, i'd just give it a go by myself early before it gets busy.

liveoz 05-13-2008 12:20 PM

Hey Noti, how about 11 instead, we can all pile into my boat if you guys don't feel like towing a boat in

billthom 05-13-2008 1:23 PM

As soon as I saw the weather I took Thursday-Friday off. <IMG SRC="http://www.wakeworld.com/MB/Discus/clipart/happy.gif" ALT=":-)" BORDER=0> <BR> <BR>Bruce, I'm planning to launch sometime Friday morning as well, and can give you a hand...

robandrus 05-13-2008 1:25 PM

Damm global warming!

05-13-2008 2:24 PM

This sucks. It finally gets nice and my boat and gear is on the westside and im stuck in Ellensburg going to college.

hatepain 05-13-2008 2:56 PM

JS, we're considering a run over to Entiat but we'll likely just play at a local small lake above my house called Roses. It should be about 15 degrees warmer than Entiat and we may be able to get away without having to use a shorty. Anyway good weather, good beer and good ridin' are in the forecast!!! <BR> <BR>Darren, uhgg crescent bar on Memorial or Labor day is rough. The worst part is the drive back in traffic.

x2fanatic 05-13-2008 3:15 PM

Here is a link to washingtonwake.com's weather center and webcams. There is no specific weather reporting for Crescent bar, you may want to try Vantage or Wenatchee for comparison. <BR> <BR><a href="http://washingtonwake.netfirms.com/washingtonwake/viewforum.php?f=11&amp;sid=c68ec7075cbab92fb363682 e52581646" target="_blank">http://washingtonwake.netfirms.com/washingtonwake/viewforum.php?f=11&amp;sid=c68ec7075cbab92fb363682 e52581646</a>

dlamont 05-13-2008 3:20 PM

Hate, <BR>CB on any weekend has smooth water, you just have to know where to go, up river!!. No one is up there because of the rocks. I am guessing that the water will still be under 50 degrees on Memorial, should be a good chance for some hypothermia.

polarbill 05-13-2008 3:28 PM

Darren, where are you staying? Me and some friends are going to be renting a condo in Sun Serra. We should meet up and ride a couple of the days. None of the friends I am going with over there board.

hatepain 05-13-2008 3:33 PM

Darren, Yeah you can always find a stretch of glass around some bend or another. I meant that as a generlization with regards to the people, traffic and hang overs. <BR> <BR>JS, I just figured out who you are you guy's buy all of your rigs from Darren here at Bickford and you brought him in Hyperlite wakesurfer.

x2fanatic 05-13-2008 3:33 PM

Here is the river temp and flow chart from Chelan County PUD.....Rock Island dam is the one right above CB <BR><a href="http://www.cbr.washington.edu/dart/river.html" target="_blank">http://www.cbr.washington.edu/dart/river.html</a> <BR> <BR>It's up to a balmy 49 today

jsxstar 05-13-2008 3:53 PM

Hate, I know exactly what your talking about. I used to ski there back in the day when they had the slalom course in. Prolly 5-7 years ago.... <BR> <BR>Yeah that would be us. Darren is a good guy he has taken good care of us. <BR> <BR>Do you work there? You ride at Goodwin don't you? I haven't been up there yet this year. How is it?

jsxstar 05-13-2008 3:55 PM

D, gonna be at my place for memorial and labor day. Let me know when your there and we can possibly meet up. <BR> <BR>I am planing on probably coming down to cresent for a day to see Mark and Shelby over memorial.

dlamont 05-13-2008 4:42 PM

Brett, I am staying in the trailer park. Lot 351. <BR> <BR>Hate, you are definately right on with CB's craziness on the big weekends. <BR> <BR>JS, come down to CB on Sunday. I will be there. Are you bringing the green monster?

hatepain 05-13-2008 8:53 PM

JS, yeah I sell there too I actually live on the same street as Darren we had a house built out here at Goodwin a couple years ago. It's been good but cold we're still in our dry suits and just wakesurfing and sending rollers at the fisherman so far but I'm definitely ready to start riding. I think I saw you out here 1 day last year after you got your green xstar and a buddy of mine lives on Stevens and has seen you guys out there raging the pro 80's he said your boat is super loud.

noti_dad 05-13-2008 9:25 PM

Troy - No go on 11. Cliff is adamant about taking his boat out @ 10. Something about not changing anything so he can perfect his TS wake 2 wake.

266crownlinebr 05-14-2008 1:11 AM

Sorry, I would have to wear a jacket and stay inside with a cup of soup with that weather. AZ <img src="http://www.wakeworld.com/MB/Discus/clipart/lol.gif" border=0>

polarbill 05-14-2008 8:16 AM

damn, that is cold.

brucemac 05-14-2008 8:25 AM

yeah, it never usually warms up enough for me until July.... <BR> <BR>depends on weather though. this nice hot weekend will help for sure. <BR> <BR>we stopped going to lincoln rock on father's day weekend because it just isn't warm enough yet to trunk it.

x2fanatic 05-14-2008 8:55 AM

We usually dont trunk it until July, so we have lots of drysuits, wetsuits and rashguards, and shower and heater to warm up with.

billthom 05-14-2008 9:13 AM

Cliff, you better stay clear of the north end then....just waxed my board up <img src="http://www.wakeworld.com/MB/Discus/clipart/lol.gif" border=0>

liveoz 05-14-2008 10:09 AM

Cliff, <BR> <BR>I have a meeting at 9:30. Probably couldn't get home until about 11. I'll call you and see where you are at, If you are at the North End needing a break from the butter, I'd be happy to grab a set.

dlamont 05-14-2008 10:15 AM

I think I will be tubing on friday around 10am.

brucemac 05-14-2008 10:35 AM

yeah, i'm going to practice power turns in my new-to-me boat!!! <img src="http://www.wakeworld.com/MB/Discus/clipart/wink.gif" border=0> <BR> <BR>can't wait for this short week to be over with already...

polarbill 05-14-2008 10:41 AM

Darren, can I head out and join you tubing. Afterwards lets do some serious surfing in a huge circle. <BR> <BR>Seriously though. I hate all you that are taking that Friday off.

brucemac 05-14-2008 11:00 AM

rooter 05-14-2008 11:17 AM

There used to be a web page linked off of the Sunlands site that showed the water levels at the dock. Does anyone have that link or a link similar that shows water level below Rock Island Damn for Crescent Bar, Sunlands, etc.?

it's getting NICE out!!!! <BR> <BR>brett, you sick yet?! <img src="http://www.wakeworld.com/MB/Discus/clipart/biggrin.gif" border=0>

polarbill 05-15-2008 1:37 PM

Thinking about it. The only problem is if I do become sick I am going to have to pressure wash the whole dock. <BR> <BR>Cliff, the PP had a bad servo motor. Got the bad ballast pump ordered. Found that the power and ground for the depth finder aren't hooked up and the sensor needs to be epoxied back down. Almost got her ready to go. I even found that it fit on the lift so no dock/bouy rash. <BR> <BR>Ken, no calling up here to Blanchard tomorrow and telling people I might be out on the lake. <BR> <BR>(Message edited by polarbill on May 15, 2008)

liveoz 05-15-2008 2:46 PM

Cliff, <BR> <BR>Mike and I got some of that, we were out at the time of that pic. I figured it was the last weeknight of the year where we owned the butter. This weekend will bring out all the surfers and the rest of the after work crowds. If it is like last year, the water is usually toast from 5PM until dark.

kenteck 05-15-2008 2:56 PM

Brent <BR>I wanted to call Chris in the morning and tell him some lame excuse not to come in, but it would only be obvious Whats going on, I have to wait till 5:00 to head out to the island for the weekend right in the heat of the day 95°

tcluv85 05-15-2008 6:05 PM

Planning on surfing the north end of Lk. Samm around 11ish probably. <img src="http://www.wakeworld.com/MB/Discus/clipart/kiss.gif" border=0> I know two surf boats will be out.

05mobiuslsv 05-15-2008 9:13 PM

Samammish was awesome today, if you didn't make it you missed out. I'll be there again tomorrow, I got roasted though....

seattle 05-15-2008 9:52 PM

Flower, <BR> <BR>That's awesome, We bought paint guns this year and we've been dying to try them out.<img src="http://www.wakeworld.com/MB/Discus/clipart/kiss.gif" border=0>
