So I'm wondering if, as opposed to a new paint job, I could get the trailer coated in a spray on bed liner. Anyone done this, or seen, or heard of this being done? I think it could look pretty sweet, possibly cost less than a paint job, and protect it a little more. Thoughts?!?!

My old trailer was pretty much completely covered in linex. I really liked it. It doesn't scratch and was really easy to clean. Cliff Griffin from this site was the one who had it done I think. I think he linexed just the fenders on his current trailer. Do you have to grind the existing rust spots off before applying the bedliner?

There is a boat in out barn that has it's trailer Rhino lined...looks pretty cool and is always in great shape.

It's much heavier than paint and you do have to remove all rust. It does not cover the inside of tubing and you must ensure that drain holes are opened again after you put it on.
