PS3 in the truck

I am taking some of my crew on a white water rafting trip over the Labor Day weekend. We will be on the road at least 24 hours. I am thinking about hooking up the PS3 so that they can play on the way. I have read several opinions that recommend not doing this. They claim that the road vibrations and bumps will ruin the unit. What do yall think?

I doubt it. Whats the return policy @ Walmart? if its like 30days or whatever, buy one... hook it up for the trip, if it busts it new and has a warranty, if it works fine just return it after the trip.... not the most "moral" of plans, but it might work.

I did this with some friends a while back driving 18 hours. Wrap it in a blanket and put in somewhere other than on the floorboard.. you'll be fine. Just make sure it gets air.

Your fine, I bring my 360 on 8+ hour trips a lot, in a bouncy f350 at that. While I wouldn't recommend "wrapping it in a blanket", I'm sure you can find something soft to set it on.
