Does anyone have any info on Carlsbad Lagoon? I read an article that was written a few years ago that said they had free ride times every once in a while. Hit me up with any info that you have.

this is the page for rentals, I've always had a good experience going there.

http://www.carlsbadlagoon.com/rentals.php

They did tell me they had free ride Fridays but I'm not sure if that's year round.

Wait,so you can't just go ride on Carlsbad Lagoon? I'm confused, although every time i've seen vids of it the water is always perfect yet I never hear anyone talking about riding there. I just assumed no one on here lived in Carlsbad lol.

You can get a permit from the city for like $500 per year to launch there I think. During the week its great from what I hear. And California Watersports does pulls, lessons, and rentals as well. Contact Josh Cantor for more info

josh@carlsba dlagoon.com

Buddy,

Did you make the move to SD? I remember a ways back you were talking about it.

Definately check with Josh at the Lagoon. Many good times can be had there. Hopefully with summer getting closer, they will be having some events.
