Ballast and trailer help-Couple of quick questions

Does anyone know what size the ballast lines are in a 2003 vlx? Upgrading from the stock rear tanks and ordered the bags, but didn't know what size fittings to order(and the vendor doesn't even stock them) and forgot to measure last night...oops.

Also, my wife was pulling the boat on Sat and I was following in my car and noticed one of the 4 oval taillights on my boatmate trailer was out. I have seen references to 6" oval and 6.5" oval tail lights.. They are mounted with the rubber flange. Does anyone know righ off hand which size are on the standard boatmate (circa 2003, like the boat of course) trailer. I can email them but thought I could get a quicker answer here.

Thanks in advance for the help. Would like to get the stuff ordered today.

I don't know anything about the specifics of the Boat Mate trailer but if it takes 6" ovals get the $15 Pilot brand LED lights from Wal-Mart. They're really bright, totally sealed, and not terribly priced.

Stock ballast hose size for your VLX is 3/4".

FYI...the lights are 6.5" by 2.25" ovals.

The sacks might have to go back. Can't get the fittings. Out of stock everywhere, and the manufacturer(straight-line) can't give me a date on when they will have more. Evidently they are in the process of changing vendors. Anyone have any ideas?? I can make it work, but will end up spending more than the money I saved on the bags. Should have gone with the Fly-high bags, but the launch pads have just a bit more capacity for a bit less money.

You can always buy a step down adapter for the hose, I assume the fittings are 1" on the Launch pads. You can run the 3/4" Hose, put and adaptor about 1' from the bag and run a 1" hose into the bag. It should not cost much at all.
