hey guys i installed my 2 10 W6v2's in the new boat the other day. They are running on a Orion 1200d which puts out 1200 watts at 1 0hm which the speakers are wired at.
They sound awesome just like they did in the other boat we had but now when it is played at louder volumes there is more noise from vibration than i exspected.

the box isn't covered in anything.
I was wondering if maybe a soft foam type sheeting on the bottom of the box would help the vibrations from being sent throughout the boat?

Any suggestions

willaim, welcome to my world......some baots are built "tighter" than others. I have the smae issues under my dash with a 10w6. I've got abtout 90% of the vibration away by using a dynomat type material (offbrand I found at walmart, works the same) I took off the dash and made a seal aroufn the back of the dash and screwed it back on, you coudl also use that spray foam in a can to seal things up.
first try and find out what is vibrating?
