New Board Reccomendations

I've been riding a 2006/2007 CWB Absolute platinum board for about 6 years now... last year broke it (2nd one), and Im in the market for a new one. I love how light it is, but I always felt better on a 138cm than the large 141cm platinum. Im 5'10", 180lbs, intermediate rider. I love the lightness of the board, just wish they made it in a 138cm! I haven't been in the market for a few years, but I'm looking for something that will cut harder than the platinum, but will give me the same amount in crazy pop. Any suggestions?

If you want to stick with CWB then the Transcend is an excellent shape, as is the Faction/DB9. I used to ride that Absolute and went to the Faction and Transcend before I switched to Hyperlite. If you want super light weight the DB9 can't be beat, it pops differently than the Absolute but is a lot more forgiving and fun to ride.

Like I mentioned, I switched to Hyperlite and they have a few boards that could fit the bill. Many folks that like a very edgy board really like the Marek, its on edge and pops a bunch. I now ride the Franchise and could not be happier, its quick on the water, lands soft & fast and I think pops very well.
